Frequently Asked Questions
Will these screens hide Halloween lights and extension cords?
Yes. Darker colors (black or brown) are best for hiding cords. Run wires behind the screen, secure them to the fence with zip ties, and leave small access gaps for plugs and switches so you can maintain connections without exposing wiring.
Are these screens waterproof for wet leaves and rain?
The HDPE weave is breathable rather than fully waterproof, so water passes through instead of pooling. That breathability helps prevent leaf buildup and mildew, but it won’t keep everything completely dry behind the screen — use weatherproof housings for electrical components.
How do I mount a privacy screen to a chain-link fence?
Use stainless or nylon cable zip ties threaded through the grommets and around the fence wires; space ties every 12–24 inches and add extra ties at corners and along the top and bottom. Reinforced binding and closely spaced grommets make attaching easier and increase wind resistance.
